The College Bowl Season kicks off with this noon matchup between Middle Tennessee State out of C-USA & Toledo out of the MAC! Toledo enters the game on a 3 game winning streak. The Sharps, Big Money, Top Experts & All Systems are riding this game Under 49.5 which is strange to me because Toledo has scored 49 points themselves in 3 out of their last 4 games played. The fact that the oddsmakers set the total @ 49.5 is even Moor Mind boggling. We understand that Middle Tennessee prefers to grind the tempo way down with the run game & the fact that the 12pm EST kickoff is actually 7am in Hawaii. Add those factors up & we understand why the under is so appealing. ML Toledo & Bet the game Under 49.5!
Cure Bowl 6pm Orlando Fla.

Coastal Carolina was a sexy pick early in the season covering week in & week out. Then an injury happened to their Starting QB & they turned into a team struggling just to get by even after his return. They managed to finish the season 10-2SU but only 5-6-1ATS. Northern Illinois is a scrappy team that fought tooth & nail most games. They finished with a 9-4 record SU & was 8-4-1 against the number. We like Northern Illinois to stay inside the number in this 1 as well & we wouldn’t be @ all surprised if they pulled off the upset.
Northern Illinois Plus 10.5!

Boca Raton Bowl 11am
WKU +3 vs APP ST. O/U 66.5
You’ll have to get up pretty early Saturday Moorning to catch Western Kentucky taking on Appalachian State in the Boca Raton Bowl on the Campus of Florida Atlantic. Points should be scored early & often in this matchup. Western Kentucky has scored over 30 points in every game they have played this season & we don’t see that changing come Saturday. Appalachian State finished the season 10-3. Western Kentucky 8-5. All the signs point towards a Western cover. I’m talking Sharps, Money, Experts & All Systems. We personally like it Over 66.5! APP State is no slouch & they will come ready to play.
New Mexico Bowl 2:15pm
UTEP +11.5 vs FRESNO ST. O/U 51.5
Lets start this matchup with a simple question. Is Fresno State 12 points better than UTEP & that answer is YES! Everything else about this matchup isn’t that simple. Fresno is 9-3 on the season & 8-2 as the favorite. UTEP comes in @ 7-5 & 2-5 when getting points. I personally would ML Fresno though I do view them as a solid 12 point Favorite!
Independence Bowl 3:30pm Shreveport LA
UAB +7 vs BYU O/U 54.5
BYU enters this game a little salty that they were left out of A New Years Day Bowl after finishing the season 10-2 & going 5-0 against PAC 12 opponents. Their only 2 losses came in consecutive weeks to Boise State & eventual BIG 12 Champion Baylor back in early October. They will be without a few key players on both sides of the ball but not enough key players that they should struggle with UAB. The Blazers come into the game 8-4 & do have enough athletes to pull off an upset if BYU doesn’t take this game serious. That’s something the Sharps are betting on as this line has moved from 8 & is heading down towards the 6.5 range which is perfect for me. We believe BYU will show up to play & cover the Touchdown Spread. BYU minus 7!
LendingTree Bowl 5:45pm Mobile AL
EMU +9.5 vs LIB O/U 58.5
Nothing about this matchup gives me reason to believe that Eastern Michigan can stay within 10 points of Liberty other than the fact that it’s a Bowl Game & anything can happen in a Bowl Game. Don’t let the identical 7-5 records fool you. Liberty is a strong 10 points better in this game. I can’t play the game in VA but if I could I would lay the 10. Liberty minus 10!
LA Bowl 7:30pm Los Angeles CA
UTAH ST. +7.5 vs ORST O/U 67.5
Not sure why Utah State is Moor than a touchdown Dawg in a neutral site game that they are very capable of winning outright. Sometimes the oddsmakers get too caught up in Conferences & in this case weigh the PAC 12 Oregon State the favorite over Utah State out of the Mountain West based solely on that. I choose to look @ body of work & team comparison. Utah State is 10-3, Won the Mountain West & beat the only PAC 12 opponent they faced this season. A Washington State Team that beat Oregon State by a touchdown. Oregon is a middle of the pack PAC 12 team with a 7-5 record. Utah State is 6-1 vs the number in games played away from home & 7-0SU. I like Utah State to Win the game but I’ll take them Plus 7.5 for extra insurance.
New Orleans Bowl 9:15pm
ULL -5 vs MRSH O/U 55
The Ragin’ Cajuns haven’t loss a game since a week 1 defeat vs the Texas Longhorns. A game in which most predicted Lafayette to cover & others had them winning outright. As pretty as their 12-1 record is they are only 6-7 vs the number. They are however 9-0SU in games that they were the favorite. Marshall is 0-2SU in games that they were the Underdog which tells 2 different stories. 1 is that they do not fare well in games in which they are the Underdog. The other is that they were only the Dawg twice all season which says a lot about the Thundering Herd. With all that being said we don’t see Louisiana-Lafayette losing this game & the 5 may be a low enough number for a Ragin’ Cajuns Cover. ML Louisiana-Lafayette but don’t be afraid to lay the 5!
